It seems like Triple H might have changed his mind on one Phil Brooks.
CM Punk and Paul Lavesque have a contentious relationship at best, with Punk walking out of WWE despite a match with Triple H on the table for WrestleMania 30. They have feuded in the past, with it not going well for Punk.
Speaking with GiveMeSport, WrestleVotes noted that in July, they were told that Triple H wants nothing to do with CM Punk. However, they then added that Triple h has softened a little bit when it came to his animosity towards Punk.
“I did ask over the last couple of days, and it has softened a little bit from what I understand. I still think there’s animosity, I still think there’s a lot of pieces that need to be picked up between the two of them specifically. But Hunter, learned from Vince (McMahon) and Vince made amends with everybody.

Punk is currently still suspended pending the end of an internal investigation into “Brawl Out”. It has been reported that AEW are discussing buying out Punk’s contract, which could open the door for Punk to make the jump to WWE.
