Wardlow discusses the possibility of his former boss winning the AEW World Championship.
Next month, Jon Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Title against MJF in the main event of AEW Full Gear. MJF would earn this opportunity back at AEW All Out where he would win the Casino Ladder match, earning a shot at any time of his choosing at the world championship.
Someone who knows MJF all too well is his former muscle, AEW TNT Champion Wardlow. In an interview with ESPR, Wardlow made it clear that he will not sit by if his former employer wins the AEW World Championship.
“I refuse to have MJF as the champion of my company. So if he ever does weasel his way to getting that title, I will quickly take it off of him,”

Wardlow defeated his former boss back at AEW Double Or Nothing to earn his freedom, quickly winning the TNT championship and striking a tag team with Samoa Joe. MJF is set to speak on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
