It looks like there is some substantial support for a possible babyface run from MJF.
It’s hard to imagine MJF as a pure babyface and while he has started to lean into a more heroic approach to his character recently.
Bryan Alvarez recently discussed MJF becoming a babyface on Wrestling Observer Live. He revealed there are creative minds in AEW who strongly support the idea of MJF turning babyface.
There are people in AEW that strongly think they should go with him as a babyface. They feel that he could be a massive babyface They think that is what he should do now. There are people who believe he could be a generational babyface.

MJF cut a babyface promo yesterday on Dynamite, and suffered a beatdown after running in for a save on Jon Moxley. We’ll have to see what’s in store next for the Salt of the Earth but for now it appears he may be in line for a major face turn.
