Vince McMahon Wanted Kurt Angle To Stop Doing Moonsaults Because He Was “A Big Guy”
Vince McMahon was not a fan of Kurt Angle doing moonsaults.
Angle had the best rookie year in WWE history and became the champion in no time. One of the key moves in his arsenal was a moonsault, which Angle was more than capable of landing each and every time.
While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle revealed that Vince McMahon initially yelled at him for performing moonsaults, telling him not to do it as Angle was a ‘big guy.’
“I got yelled at a couple of times when I first started doing the moonsault off the top rope. Vince was like, ‘Listen, you’re not a small guy, you’re a big guy,’ and I said, ‘Vince, but I can do it, that’s actually impressive.’ He said, ‘Yeah, you’re right, but don’t use it a lot, just every once in a while,’ and he was right.”
