Jeff Jarrett made his AEW debut on Wednesday Night Dynamite, being revealed as an old friend of Jay Lethal’s. The role within the company also covers an office role with the company. Tony Khan announced that Jarrett has officially signed with AEW as the Director of Business Development. Khan noted that he “looks forward to expanding the AEW live events calender in 2023” with Jarrett.
Jarrett was released from his role within WWE in August 2022 as Triple H looked to restructure WWE executives under his and Stephanie McMahon’s regime.
