It looks like WWE could be ready to cancel Crown Jewel, should there be a need for it.
It was revealed earlier this week by The Washington Post that Saudi Arabian Officials had notified the American military of a possible attack on the Kingdom from Iran. Of course, WWE Crown Jewel is set to take place this Saturday. With such a high capacity event, there is a fear that it may be a target for attack.
Per Fightful Select, WWE have no plans to cancel the event as of this writing, but they are prepared in case the need should occur.
– WWE is planning to hold a press conference in Riyadh Friday at 10 AM EST on their social media accounts. Talent has arrived in the area and have began promotion. As of now there are no plans to cancel the show but we’re told they’re on high alert in case.

Time will tell how the threat will be handled by Saudi Arabian officials. However, for now WWE will look to continue business as usual.
