A recent threat from Iran caused a lot of alarm. Reports started to circulate that the show might not even happen. However, it appears that WWE has been closely watching the situation to identify any threats.
According to PW Insider, ahead of the Crown Jewel PPV event, WWE has been in regular communication with The State Department. Additionally, the company has been informed that the allegedly endangered area is far from Riyadh, the planned site of Crown Jewel.
“We are told WWE has been in regular contact with The State Department in advance of the Crown Jewel PPV. We are also that those in the company have been told the area that is believed to be endangered is nowhere near Riyadh, where Crown Jewel is slated to be held.”

There will undoubtedly be stringent procedures in place to guarantee the security of every WWE superstar. We can only hope that the WWE team navigates the situation safely and holds their big show without incident.
