IMPACT Wrestling Acknowledges Current IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander as 3rd Longest Reigning Champion
Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to acknowledge that Josh Alexander has now surpassed Johnny Impact as the 3rd longest reigning World Champion.
As of today, Josh Alexander has been the IMPACT World Champion for 197 days. Exactly one week ago, Josh passed up Sting as the 4th longest reigning World Champion at 190 days. In a matter of 1 week, Josh has moved up 2 spots on the all time list.
The next person in the #2 spot is AJ Styles at 211 days. Josh Alexander is set to defend the World Title against AEW star Frankie Kazarian at Overdrive on 11/18. If Josh wins that match, then he’ll be only days away from surpassing AJ and becoming the 2nd longest reigning World Champion.
Can Kazarian stop Josh in his tracks and become the new IMPACT Wrestling World Champion? We’ll have to tune in or buy tickets to see it live!
