Orange Cassidy Recalls Taking Pandemic Frustrations Out On Chris Jericho
Orange Cassidy did not like wrestling without the fans during the pandemic.
While speaking with WBAL-TV 11, Cassidy admitted that the Covid-19 pandemic was the most frustrating part of his tenure with AEW. He did, however, take his frustration out on Chris Jericho during a match on an episode of Dynamite.
“I’m not going to lie to you; it was bad. I did not like it. The only reason wrestling is what it is, is because of the fans. To not hear them, to not be there, it was tough. So I took it out on Chris Jericho. I punched him in the face a bunch, and then knocked him in a big pool of Mimosa to beat him.”

Jericho has still yet to get his revenge on Cassidy. With him being the Ring of Honor Champion, maybe the feud will reignite, or perhaps it may go another direction as Cassidy currently holds the AEW All Atlantic Championship.
