‘The Korean Zombie’ vs. Giga Chikadze could be the headliner for UFC Seoul, which will take place in February 2023.
There are rumors this could be Chan-sung Jung’s final MMA fight. Jung suffered a brutal TKO-loss against featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in his last outing, which took place at UFC 273.
A final showing in front of home fans could be exactly the type of send-off the UFC have planned for The Korean Zombie.
Chikadze will hope to bounce back from his defeat to Calvin Kattar at UFC Vegas 46, if the Georgian faces Jung early next year. ‘Ninja’ entered the octagon with a nine-fight win streak against Kattar, who dominated the Georgian for five rounds.
The UFC is yet to announce the fight, but it is reportedly in the works for February 2023.
