Possible Spoiler On WWE Creative’s Plans For Austin Theory After Failed Cash In
Austin Theory may have came up short on Monday Night RAW.
On this week’s edition of RAW, we saw Austin Theory cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase for the United States Championship after Bobby Lashley laid out champion Seth Rollins. Theory would end up losing the match thanks to interference by Lashley leading to a stomp on Theory.
Ringside News was told that there is no heat on Austin Theory at all. Last night’s show actually caused “excitement from the producers.”
A tenured member of the creative team told us that “the producers all felt we were finally getting Theory in position.” Now, Theory is in a program with Seth Rollins, “who is quickly becoming RAW’s top babyface.” Bobby Lashley is also in the mix, and the Almighty “has been positioned as the one man who can beat up Brock Lesnar at will.”
We were assured by a writer with first-hand knowledge of this situation that, “Theory is better off today than he has been since Vince retired.” Last night’s episode of WWE RAW might have appeared as a device to write Austin Theory out of any storyline, but that is not the case.
Ringside News
Austin Theory joined a select group of talent who lost their championship cash in with the briefcase, but he also became the first man to cash in on a mid card championship and also the first to cash in and fail on said championship.
