Lio Rush Missed Out On Power Rangers Movie Role Due To Injury
Lio Rush was almost on the big screen, but an injury put a stop to it.
In November of 2020, Lio Rush was set to be apart of the Power Rangers inspired movie titled ‘Legend Of The White Dragon’. But, things didn’t work out. The movie is still in production, but due to an injury, Lio didn’t make the cut. In a new interview with the Say Less podcast, Rush revealed that he lost out on the acting gig.
Well, actually, that opportunity [Power Rangers acting gig] kind of got stripped away from me because of my second injury. So yeah, yeah. I had a lot going on. I believe I was supposed to be one of the villains. I was gonna have a small fighting scene… I was probably fighting off one of the Power Rangers, which would have been dope. I was looking forward to that.

Seeing more pro-wrestlers on the big screen is a great thing, and this would’ve been a cool one to see. Lio Rush has finally healed up from his injury and returned to the ring October.
