Saraya is finally back in the ring after a career threatening neck injury.
Saraya made her AEW Debut earlier this year at AEW Grand Slam, but now, it looks like she’s ready to get back into the ring as a competitor. Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, was injured in 2017 and officially retired a few years later after being told she wouldn’t be able to step back into the ring following her neck injury. Paige continued to be involved with WWE in several roles such as general manger and host for WWE’s Backstage television show. But, Paige officially left WWE earlier this year and showed up in AEW under her real name, Saraya. Immediately following her AEW debut, it was clear she was capable of getting physical in some sort of way after having some brawling segments with Britt Baker. Well, on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Saraya announced that she is 100% clear and challenged Britt Baker to a match at the AEW Full Gear Pay-Per-View.
