On the November 11th edition of WWE SmackDown, it was revealed that Mustafa Ali would be one of the eight competitors competing in the SmackDown World Cup.
Per Fightful Select, Mustafa is still part of the Monday Night RAW roster, despite competing in the SmackDown World Cup.
Mustafa Ali was announced for the Smackdown World Cup, but not so fast on him becoming a full time roster member for now.
We’re told by WWE sources that at this moment, Mustafa Ali is still a member of the Raw roster, and is supposed to work both Raw and Smackdown during the tourney. We weren’t given a reason as to why Ali was brought in as opposed to using a Smackdown talent.
