New matches are always exciting.
Recently, WWE trademarked “Iron Survival Challenge” and on the surface, that seems like a random mix of words. What could it possibly be? Well, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has reported some details regarding the trademark and we now know that it will be a specific match type and even could be revealed as soon as tonight on NXT, but that’s not 100% confirmed.
WWE filed to trademark Iron Survivor Challenge, and Fightful has learned a little bit more about it. Sources tell Fightful that the working plan for the Iron Survivor Challenge is a new match type that is slated for the NXT brand. Details are nearly nonexistent as of now, but we’re told it may have some “scramble” element to it. We’ve also been told there are other “unique” elements that have been pitched for it. It was heavily implied to us that this would be what Shawn Michaels announces on NXT on November 15, but that was far from confirmed to us.

With the main rosters “Survivor Series: WarGames” pay-per-view on the horizon, it makes sense that NXT has a little survivor challenge of their own. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what the rules are heading into a match like this and we’ll keep you updated if it gets announced on tonight’s episode of NXT.
