Tony Khan Confirms The Return Of The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament In 2023

Tony Khan has confirmed that the Owen Hart Foundation tournament will return in 2023.

The Owen Hart Foundation tournaments were held in both the men’s and women’s divisions in the lead up to AEW Double Or Nothing earlier this year. The tournaments were won by Adam Cole and Britt Baker respectively.

During the AEW Full Gear Media call earlier today, Khan was asked about the tournament and would confirm the tournament will return in 2023.

Tony is asked if there are plans for another Owen Hart Tournament in 2023. He says there are plans, and that the tradition will continue next year. He says he is looking forward to collaborating with Marth Hart again. Thanks Chris Jericho for putting him in touch with her.

It is expected the tournament will once again go down in the build up to Double Or Nothing 2023. Time will tell if the 2022 tournament winners can go back to back in this years tournament.
