Vince McMahon wanted Rousey to be her own competitor.
According to Ronda Rousey in her most recent Ronda On The Road episode, Brock Lesnar solidified his reputation as an “invincible monster” during the course of his multiple title reigns. She would also go on to discuss the idea of her being a female version of Lesnar in WWE.
There’s this more vulnerable side of me but not vulnerable like, ‘Oh, I’m being hurt.’ It’s more of like, I gotta to find ways to challenge myself more and more and more.
Ronda On The Road
Despite the similarities between Lesnar and Rousey’s careers in MMA and wrestling, the current SmackDown Women’s Champion thinks former WWE CEO Vince McMahon didn’t envision Rousey as playing the same unbreakable role that Lesnar once played.
