Former friends turned bitter foes.
The former tag team champions went to war at AEW Full Gear inside a steel cage. Christian accompanied Luchasaurus to the ring and despite the steel cage, he remained a factor. Even before the match, Jungle Boy aimed daggers at Christian, Jungle Boy slammed the cage door shut to kick off the match. This match was a story of speed vs power. Jungle Boy would begin to bleed early in the match and soon his face was completely covered in blood. By the ten minute mark in the match Luchsaurus is dominating the majority of the match.
Christian attempted to open the cage door and was removed by security, Luchsaurus began to load the ring with weapons. When the pair returned to the inside of the cage, Jungle Boy began to turn it around momentum wise. From there, it was a back and forth battle between the former tag team champions. As the match came to its conclusion, Jungle Boy laid Luchasaurus out on a table before climbing to the top of the cage. With a point to the sky for his late father, Jungle Boy leaped and drove his former friend through the table with an elbow drop before locking in the Snare Trap for the submission win inside the cage.
