The tag titles were on the line in New Jersey.
Max Caster’s freestyle took aim at several people including Kanye West, Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Bowens heavily sold his right shoulder early in the match. Billy Gunn was not at ringside for the match. Swerve continued to work a more heel style. He brought a barricade to ringside to the confusion of Keith Lee.
Swerve tried to use the barricade but Bowens countered. Lee began to focus his attack on the shoulder of Bowens also during the match to the delight of Swerve. Swerve tags in and does the same. The match tells a clear story as Keith Lee attempts to follow what Swerve does for the titles.
The barricade would be used as Max Caster dove onto Keith Lee, driving him through the steel barricade. The Acclaimed hit their finisher but Lee saved the match. Swerve and Lee hit their finisher, with Caster kicking out. Swerve gets clippers and tells Keith Lee to use them after Billy Gunn stops Swerve from using them by throwing them away. Swerve SLAPS Keith Lee. Lee walked out following this moment and The Acclaimed get the win to retain their titles!
