The dream match is on!
On Friday’s AEW Rampage, Eddie Kingston and Ortiz battled Jun Akiyama and Konosuke Takeshita in a losing effort. But, Eddie Kingston wants more. After the match and after the show went off the air, Eddie Kingston took the mic and demanded Tony Khan to come out to the ramp, which he did. Eddie then told him he wants his singles match against Jun Akiyama, seemingly not taking no for an answer. Tony Khan obliged and made it official, Eddie Kingston vs. Jun Akiyama on AEW Full Gear Zero Hour. You can see the promo posted via AEW’s socials below.
AEW Full Gear Zero Hour is live and free one hour before the pay-per-view at 7/6c on AEW’s YouTube channel. The Zero Hour will feature Eddie Kingston vs. Jun Akiyama, Brian Cage vs. Ricky Starks in a semi-finals AEW Title Eliminator Tournament Match and a ten man tag between the Best Friends and The Factory.
