Saraya is back in action.
Saraya competed in her first match back in over five years tonight when he defeated Britt Baker in her AEW debut at AEW Full Gear. After the event, Saraya took the stand at the post-show media scrum where she was asked about how she physically feels following her return match, where she said she felt fantastic.
So, I feel fantastic and the wonderful thing about, I mean Tony really takes care of us, like, down to a T, he was like “I’m not gonna let you get back into the ring until we like officially officially, 100% know you’re ready to go” and I was like “I promise you, I’ve got this.” So, you know, we did MRI’s, we did CT Scans, we did X-Rays and my neck was just 100% ready to go. Even I was shocked, I didn’t realize it would be 100% but you know, but we got there. And the thing is, is that, again, with Tony too, he’s very understanding when it comes to, you know, injures and stuff like that, so I said “I wanna take it slow coming back I don’t wanna rush back in” like I did, you know, the last time where it was just a lot of work straight away and he was just so understanding. I really appreciate him, so, yeah. So, I’m happy that I got to do this in AEW, too! I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time, so, it felt just very very cool that I got to do that here today.
