“Too Many Egos” Prevented Four Horsewomen Feud In WWE
One member of the MMA Four Horsewomen has come out and explained why they never had a rivarly with the WWE Four Horsewomen.
When Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke made their way to WWE, fans firmly believed that a match between the two groups would finally become a reality. However, it never happened as Rousey left WWE after WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Rousey came back to WWE this year, but Shafir and Duke were out of WWE by then. Currently, Marina works for AEWWhile speaking to Renee Paquette on The Sessions, Maria Shafir talked about why the match never happened. She blamed egos getting in the way as the reason.
“Hey, egos were at play. There’s too many f*cking cooks in the kitchen sometimes. In more ways than one”
“I feel like, I never knew this, but I just feel like professional wrestling was a little more exclusive back in the day. It wasn’t just about politicking, it was about really showing respect, not kissing ass or feeling like you have to give something up of yourself to take it to the next level.”
