Jon Moxley Fears He Won’t Reach His Maximum Potential
Jon Moxley’s only competition is Jon Moxley.
Jon Moxley has just lost the AEW World Championship to MJF at AEW Full Gear. But, the former three time AEW Champion is still grateful. While talking with Graham “GSM” Matthews of Bleacher Report, Moxley expressed his gratitude for what he has, both in his personal life an his career. He says that he wants to help people along the way. Plus, Jon stated that his mindset has changed, as he has different goals.
Wrestling gave me everything, so if I can help one person just a bit along the way to have everything in life that I have now because of wrestling and bring joy to so many people, it’s just such a great job I have. My mindset is totally different now. I’m just a very fortunate individual. I have a great life and I get to fill my day with all these great things that there’s no goal, or at least the goals are different. It’s just getting a bit better at this and bit better at that. My only competition now is myself,

Moxley continued on by saying he wants to be better with his brain and coaching helps that. He notes that his fear is never reaching his maximum potential.

My fear is that by the time I’m done or my body gives out or I retire, there will be something I had left to give, or that I never truly reach my maximum of what I could have been. I want to be the best fully formed version of Jon Moxley in the ring there ever was. And I feel I’m still so far away from that,

Jon Moxley continues to wrestle for AEW and surely he’s looking to regain his newly lost World Title. He’s also a member of the Blackpool Combat Club, which recently got into a bit of an inner war when William Regal turned on Moxley at Full Gear.
