Rhea Ripley Reveals Why She Hasn’t Wrestled Much Despite Being Cleared
Ripley returned to in-ring back in October after some time away recovering from a concussion. Since then, she teamed up with Damien Priest at a WWE live event, losing to Nikki ASH and Dolph Ziggler. She then defeated Roxanne Perez on NXT and then beat Asuka on this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Despite not competing in the ring for a long time, she was still seen with her Judgment Day members. While speaking to The New York Post, The Eradicator talked about the reason why she rarely wrestled since coming back. She attributed it to the aftereffects of her injury.
“A lot of it was the injury. I hadn’t been cleared for the longest time. I think I got cleared properly and fully the week before my “NXT” match. Apart from that, I pretty much wasn’t cleared that whole time. After that there pretty much hasn’t been an opportunity for me to wrestle because I have been there with The Judgement Day and sort of their muscle. I help them out if they need me.”
