AEW Full Gear Pulled In Less PPV Buys Than All Out

AEW Full Gear was still successful, but All Out remains the dominant PPV of the AEW calendar.

During a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer examined the numbers from November 19th’s Full Gear pay-per-view. Meltzer observed it did not exceed the numbers from AEW’s last All Out PPV.

“I got the cable numbers, and they were essentially so identical to All Out, it was 0.02 percent down, it was identical in terms of television, but the streaming number was down a little bit, so overall it was slightly down. And I consider that good for this show, because a lot of people said they were going in cold and this pay-per-view’s gonna bomb and this and that. I thought it would be down a little bit. If I was gonna go with a number right now, 130,000 to 135,000.”

All things considered, AEW Full Gear did pretty well. It remains to be seen how AEW will handle things moving forward. The main event of the show featured MJF going over Jon Moxley, capturing the AEW World Title in the process.
