Athena is living up the heel lifestyle.
As seen on the latest episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, Athena squared off against Laynie Luck in a singles match. Interestingly enough, she did not wear her regular ring gear. That contest was her first match back after a suspension she received for striking Aubrey Edwards.
Athena took to her Instagram account and uploaded a clip of her making her entrance for the aforementioned match. Athena revealed that she didn’t even wear any ring gear for the match.
Athena’s antics on Dark and Elevation haven’t gone unnoticed by fans in AEW, as Athena was recently suspended for assaulting referee Aubrey Edwards as mentioned previously. Time will tell how Athena’s new character will continue to develop.
