WWE Creative Team have Reportedly Not Been Informed Of Reported India Premium Live Event
It looks like the Premium Live Event in India may not be as grand as originally reported.
Earlier this week it was reported that WWE are considering a live event in India that would serve as the first PLE in India. Ringside News have now reported that the creative team in WWE have not been notified of any such event at this time.
It was previously reported that, “the event is slated to take place on a grand scale in Hyderabad. The roster will comprise a mix of superstars, both Indian and international.” This news naturally excited a lot of fans, especially those in India.
Ringside News reached out to verify this story, and we were unable to confirm that it is taking place. A tenured member of the creative team told us that, “It’s possible that it’s true, but has not been discussed with the writing staff.”

WWE obviously wants to expand into India, because they realize how hungry those fans are for pro wrestling action. Triple H made it clear that he still wants to open branches of NXT in a variety of locations. Time will tell if this India Premium Live Event turns out to be true.
