The constant news cycle regarding William Regal’s current contractual status.
Over the last few days it has been a constant shift on what Regal’s contractual status with AEW has been. However, now it appears that there is weight to the rumors of Regal returning to WWE.
PWInsider now reports that there are rumblings in WWE of Regal returning to the company.
All signs are that William Regal, 54, will be World Wrestling Entertainment-bound shortly. Although we have heard nothing official from the company, there have been rumblings within WWE of late about Regal returning in a backstage role. That would mean Regal would be exiting AEW, where it certainly appeared that he was written out of storylines last night on Dynamite, having been attacked by champion MJF

We will have to wait and see if Regal will be leaving the company but latest reports suggest he still has two years left on his contract.
