As previously reported, William Regal has officially left AEW. This was right after he was written off television on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite where MJF viciously attacked him.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez addressed the rumor that William Regal had an agreement with Tony Khan that if Triple H took control of WWE then he can go back to the company. He stated that the story has been going around for months in NXT.
This is a story that goes back in NXT months, and months ago. They believed that story whenever it first happened. Some don’t believe it, but it’s a story that’s been going around NXT for MONTHS.

We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Lord Regal, now that he will be working under Triple H again.
