It appears we now know more about Drew McIntyre’s status in the ring.
Yesterday, Drew McIntyre was pulled from Friday’s edition of SmackDown due to a medical disqualification. While WWE would announce his replacement in Butch, little information was shared by WWE on how long McIntyre will be out of action.
Fightful Select now reports that the injury is nothing serious and McIntyre will only be out of action for a short time.
We’re told Drew McIntyre’s medical situation is short term and minor, and will be back soon. He was removed from Friday’s Smackdown.

McIntyre was originally scheduled to face The Usos alongside Sheamus on Friday’s SmackDown, but due to this situation, he was pulled from the match.
Time will tell when McIntyre will return to the ring but for now he will be rehabbing whatever injury he is suffering from.
