Shawn Michaels Has Never Been Denied A Request For A WWE Main Roster Star To Appear On NXT

Shawn Michaels discusses main roster talent appearing in NXT.

While speaking during the post-NXT Deadline press conference, Shawn Michaels revealed that when it comes to him asking if a main roster Superstar can compete in NXT, he has never been denied a request. That being said, he isn’t asking for Roman Reigns or Sheamus to work Tuesday nights.

I keep my asks pretty conservative, it’s not like I can be like ‘Hey, can we get Roman down here for a couple of rounds?’ Right now, I don’t think there’s been anybody that I’ve asked about, has been a no. I’ll be honest, I try to be conservative and not take advantage of the friendship like ‘Hey buddy [Triple H].’ I try to see who it is, and maybe they’re not doing too much with at the moment or someone who has maybe been off for a little bit, and they’re looking to come back, and they can get their feet wet there and get a dry run here and can go back.

We will have to wait and see which main roster stars will make their way to NXT somewhere down the line.
