The New Day has their first challengers.
During tonight’s WWE NXT episode, it was announced that the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) will defend the gold against Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen. The New Day won the titles at NXT Deadline when they defeated Pretty Deadly. During NXT, New Day said they’d give Pretty Deadly a rematch if they recited the Pledge of Allegiance. But, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen came to the ring and recited the Pledge of Allegiance and they got the title shot. You can see the full card for next weeks episode below.
