Jeff Hardy will be in court next week.
According to PW Insider, Jeff Hardy is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing in Florida on Wednesday, December 21st, at 8:30 a.m. Hardy is obligated to present in court for the hearing, according to court documents. On June 28th, Hardy filed a written not-guilty plea with the court. Hardy is being charged with another DUI and has been receiving treatment for alcohol abuse.
Jeff Hardy is slated for a pre-trial hearing related to his DUI related charges in Florida next Wednesday 12/21 at 8:30 AM.
Based on court records, Hardy is required to appear before the court for the hearing. Hardy filed a written plea of not guilty filed with the court on 6/28.
Hardy’s attorneys waived his right to a speedy trial and requested a hearing originally set for this past July be pushed back 60 days to assist in his defense.
Hardy’s scheduled hearing last October was then again pushed back following a last minute motion from his attorney that noted Hardy’s attorneys “recently provided extensive mitigation materials to the counsel for the State” and that “The parties require additional time to negotiate a potential pretrial resolution”, so it would appear that the two sides are working on a plea agreement that would prevent a trial.

We will have to see how this pans out for Jeff Hardy. Obviously, this is a bad situation, and only time will tell if a judge will require jail time.
