Jeff Jarrett Hoping AEW Live Event Announcement Coming Soon

Double J is hoping for a live event announcement soon from AEW.

The former WWE Intercontinental champion is currently signed to Tony Khan’s promotion, All Elite Wrestling, as an occasional wrestler and executive position he previously undertook in WWE. Jeff Jarrett discussed that AEW is in for new and exciting things coming in Q1 next year on his “My World” podcast. Tony Khan brought him in to assist with live events, and Double J hopes that announcement is made soon.

“Hopefully we get some announcements out sooner rather than later, but there’s a lot of cool things … The WWE is a 40, 50, 60-year-old company, the lineage goes back three or four generations. AEW, I mean people may or may not take this the right way, but in a lot of ways it’s no longer the embryo, it’s been born, but it’s still in the infant stages. It’s really cool.”

Jeff Jarrett clarified that he would be working backstage for AEW as a Senior Vice President of Live Events. AEW has only produced televised events and pay-per-view shows so far.
