On the December 16 edition of AEW Rampage, Samoa Joe simply said that he has no intention of defending in Texas, where the December 21 and December 23 AEW Holiday Bash episodes of Dynamite and Rampage will be held.
It was then announced during the show that Samoa Joe will be defending his TNT Championship against Wardlow on the December 28 AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash event.
We will have to wait and see whether Joe will be able to retain his title at AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash on December 28th.
