Tony Khan Has Softened On His Stance Regarding WrestleMania Weekend Ring Of Honor Shows

Tony Khan is more open to the idea of WrestleMania weekend Ring Of Honor shows.

For as long as most fans can remember, Ring Of Honor has ran independent events in the same city as WWE’s marquee event, WrestleMania. This is done for several reasons, the main one being that as tens of thousands of fans descend on a city, they will be open to watching even more wrestling. However, since taking over Ring Of Honor, Tony Khan has been cold to the idea of continuing the tradition.

While speaking to Fightful’s Grapsody podcast, Tony would admit that he had softened to the idea of continuing this tradition.

Tony Khan originally wasn’t going to ever run an ROH show WrestleMania weekend show again past the one promoted by the previous regime. However, Righteous Reg mentioning he found ROH during Mania weekend in the past opened his eyes to the possibility of fans discovering the brand during that weekend.
