One of the fastest-rising stars in pro wrestling returns to Catalyst Wrestling on January 22nd, as Masha Slamovich will compete in the first round of the Catalyst Wrestling Women’s Title Tournament.
Slamovich, who has competed for Catalyst in 2019, 2020, and 2022, has taken the industry by storm this year competing for Catalyst, Impact Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, and other major international promotions.
“Russian Dynamite” will attempt to get herself one step closer to the vacant Womens’ title inside The Bell House, as she faces an opponent selected by Catalyst Matchmaker and Women’s Wrestling Pioneer, Allison Danger.
Danger’s effort has been seen all over this tournament, as she would negotiate a partnership between Catalyst and Women’s Wrestling Army to bring in Queen Aminata, whose performance against Valentina Vazquez made her a favorite to win the championship in 2023.
Slamovich’s opponent will be announced by Danger this Saturday, following the 300th episode of Catalyst Wrestling Television, featuring Colby Corino and Rob Killjoy’s epic No Holds Barred Showdown.
This match joins a card headlined by a Triple Threat match for the Catalyst Wrestling Championship as Darius Carter defends against former ROH TV Champion, “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams and either former Catalyst and ROH Champion Homicide, former Catalyst Champion Colby Corino and former one-half of the Catalyst Tag Champions, Rob Killjoy.
The two athletes not selected will face off in a match on January 22nd for the right at a Catalyst Wrestling Title shot later in 2023.
