Ciampa was in the middle of building his momentum on Monday Night RAW when a nagging injury forced him to take a break from in-ring competition. The former NXT Champion had a successful surgery in October 2022.
According to an update from Fightful Select, the hip injury had been bothering him for nearly a year before the RAW superstar decided to go under the knife.
We also asked for an update on Tommaso Ciampa, but weren’t given a potential timetable for a return. We’re told that his hip injury had been bothering him for nearly a year
