Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe defended the TNT Championship in the main event. Before the match even began, Samoa Joe attacked Darby’s training partner and AEW Future Stars contract holder, Nick Wayne, who was in the crowd. This are Darby go after Joe with his skateboard and even dive off a ladder onto him. When the katch finally began, it was a mugging from Joe but in classics Darby fashion, he wouldn’t stay down. Darby ended up battling back and picking up the win, becoming the new TNT Champion in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. Darby Celebrated with confetti and Sting after the match.
