Today during New Japan Pro Wrestling Wrestle Kingdom 17, KAIRI defended her IWGP Women’s Championship against Tam Nakano. Kairi picked up the win and after the match, she was interrupted by Mercedes Varnado, who is the former WWE superstar, Sasha Banks. Mercedes now goes by “Mercedes Mone” and she’s looking to take the IWGP Women’s Title from KAIRI. The fans went crazy for Mercedes and seeing her live in New Japan feels so unreal. She has a brand new look with shorter hair colored like flames. And she’s lays KAIRI out! Mercedes cut a promo after the match saying she’s now the CEO of the STARDOM women’s division. At Battle in The Valley February 18th, she is coming to take the title!
