Vince McMahon’s retirement brought a regime change to WWE. Triple H got to work in bringing back people his father-in-law axed. William Regal, though, was under an AEW contract at the time, but Tony Khan agreed to let him leave.
PW Insider has confirmed that William Regal is already back with WWE. He officially started back with the company this morning.
PWInsider.com is told that William Regal, 54, is officially back with World Wrestling Entertainment as of this morning.

William Regal might be back with WWE, but he won’t be seen on screen. His AEW release included a clause that he is not allowed to show up as an on-screen talent until 2024.
