Jay White lost to Kazuchika Okada in the main event of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 and lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Title in the process. In his post-match press conference, White blamed Hikuleo, saying that he derailed his destiny. At todays NJPW New Year Dash!!, White continued to take out his anger on Hikuleo when he laid him out with the Blade Runner. After the match, White said he would take away everything from Hikuleo and then challenged him to a Loser Leaves Japan match.
NJPW has not made the match official as of now.
