Recent reports have confirmed that Vince McMahon has been reinstated to the WWE Board of Directors, alongside two of his preferred candidates. Together, they plan on eventually selling the company.
That being said, Vince McMahon had a lot of faith in Triple H and the way he conducted business in WWE. In fact, McMahon gave his full support to The Game and WWE management on December 20th last year in a letter to the Board.
“I want to be very clear that I wholeheartedly believe that WWE has an exceptional management team in place. Stephanie, Nick, Paul, and the rest of the management team have my full and unconditional support, and as Executive Chairman”

The WWE Board Of Directors also tried to stop Vince McMahon from returning. Regardless, Vince McMahon is officially back and there is nothing anyone can do to reverse that decision.
