Charlotte Flair Says She Felt Like She Has To Wear Armor When She Was In Front Of Fans
As seen on the previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown, The Queen made her shocking return to WWE television and immediately defeated Ronda Rousey for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
While speaking to Megan Morant on SmackDown Lowdown, Charlotte Flair talked about receiving a warm reception from fans since her return. Flair stated that she always felt she had to wear armor in front of fans.
“I might have shocked everyone last week, but tonight everyone shocked me. Did you hear the ‘Thank you, Charlotte’ chants? That’s gonna take some time to get used to. Just hearing that makes me not feel that I have to be so defensive. For the last couple of years, I just felt like I always had to wear my armor every time I was in the ring. The reception, I don’t know, makes me feel good, makes me wanna just smile while I’m out there. Be a little less evil Queen.”

Charlotte Flair was also off WWE television for a good reason. We will have to wait and see whether Flair will end up having a proper reign as the Smackdown Women’s Champion for the time being.
