What a war.
IMPACT’s Hard To Kill Pay-Per-View kicked off with the World Championship match which was contested under Full Metal Mayhem rules between Josh Alexander and Bully Ray. Josh was attacked on his entrance and things went straight to chaos from there. Both men were bloodied up within the first five minutes, tables were broken, thumbtacks were used, as well as chairs and ladders. Plus, Jason Hotch and John Skyler got involved on behalf of Bully Ray. But, Tommy Dreamer made the save for Alexander, but got put through a table for his efforts. In the end, Josh Alexander’s wife came down and low-blowed Bully before hitting him with the sliced bread. Josh then body splashed Bully off a ladder through a table for a near fall, but followed up immediately with an ankle lock to make Bully tap out.
Josh Alexander is thankfully still the IMPACT World Champion in a brutal match.
