Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks is currently dealing with an injury.
The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega had tied the series 3-3 and went on to defeat PAC, Penta El 0 M, and Rey Fenix in the final showdown to regain the titles on this week’s edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite.
Despite winning the series, it seems like Nick Jackson had been working injured for the past few weeks. Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Nick suffered a broken toe during an early match of the series. He continued working through that despite the pain.
With The Elite becoming the AEW World Trios champions for the second time, it looks like we might be in store for new challengers to step up and try to dethrone them for the titles.
