WWE discussed the idea of Logan Paul and John Cena facing off at WrestleMania as recently as December.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that there have been talks of Logan Paul and The Leader of Cenation facing each other at the Show of Shows already.
Logan Paul had asked to be against Cena at WrestleMania, but they never said that. There was definitely talk of Cena vs Logan Paul in November/December in that range.

Logan Paul has messaged Triple H about facing John Cena at WrestleMania. That being said, WWE’s actual plans will see Cena face Austin Theory at the Show of Shows instead, so a match with Logan Paul seems unlikely now.
