Eric Bischoff Sees WWE Going Private By The End Of January
Vince McMahon revealed his motive to return was to snag a new media rights deal and to spearhead sale negotiations. There have been rumors floating around whether the company would go private, with a potential sale. It seems that former WCW President Eric Bischoff has decided to add his own two cents.
During his “83 Weeks” podcast, Eric Bischoff said if he finds out WWE goes private by the end of the month, he would be unfazed. While Bischoff admits he doesn’t know the fate of the company for sure, he said it would be highly probable for WWE to go private with Vince, and it could happen far sooner than many are considering.
“I would not be surprised if it happens before the end of the month. I’m not saying I know it, but would it surprise me? Absolutely not. Is it possible? Yes. If he’s going to take the company private, it’s possible.”
“My gut told me a week ago, ‘I think he’s gonna take it private’ I can see him teaming up with an Endeavor as a minority private investor.”

It’s worthy to note that Bischoff isn’t the only one on the AdFreeShows network who suspects WWE would go private. Jeff Jarrett spoke on his My World show about how beneficial it would be for WWE to go private.
