Kurt Angle Recalls Getting Yelled At By Vince McMahon For Talking Too Loud During His Matches
The Olympic Gold Medallist earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including becoming a multi-time World Champion. Angle has also faced many legendary pro wrestlers in his career.
Kurt Angle’s in-ring skills truly set him apart from the rest of the WWE locker room at that time. Be that as it may, Angle wasn’t immune from incurring Vince McMahon’s wrath from time to time.
While speaking on a bonus episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that Vince McMahon yelled at him for talking too loud during his matches.
“I had a bad habit of talking too loudly,” Angle said. “Vince McMahon – I come back and Vince McMahon would be like, ‘You did it again. You have to stop talking so loud, the fans can hear you.’
But you know what, what are you going to do? You have to make sure that your opponent hears you. If you don’t, you call something, and you go to do it, and he doesn’t know what is going on, then you’re double screwed. I feel that even talking at a certain level, even if the fans can hear it, it’s okay, because you know what, when you are in wrestling you are going to talk sh*t anyway. They just don’t really know what you are actually saying.”

It seems that Angle’s days in the ring are over, but you can never say never about an on-screen return in a non-wrestling capacity. Regardless, he will forever be grateful for his time in WWE, and that’s all that matters right now.
