WWE 2K has not made many official announcements regarding the upcoming release. However, it is reported that the game will be revealed on January 28th, just before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
Microsoft store data miner Aggiornamenti Lumia has revealed in now-deleted tweets that a cross-gen edition of the game will be released for Xbox consoles on March 17th. An image of John Cena could be seen as the cover art, after rumors that he will be featured in the upcoming game’s 2K Showcase Mode.
Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to play the game firsthand, and information will be provided about the game’s 2K Showcase mode. We’ll have to see when the game will release this year.
